The vacuum regulator for Alsoka Medical’s microsuction pump is a practical intermediate piece that you use between the suction hose and the suction tube when removing earwax.

By covering or releasing the regulation hole with your thumb, you can quickly build or quickly interrupt the preset vacuum – without having to look for button on the vacuum pump.

This gives you the choice to build up the vacuum only in the ear canal to minimize the noise of the treatment. This is useful in the case of a client with tinnitus or hyperacusis symptoms.

In addition, this increases safety when removing earwax with the vacuum pump. Indeed, should you hit the ear canal or eardrum with your suction tube, you can quickly interrupt the vacuum.
