Who is this training suitable for?

This package is suitable for hearing care professionals, general practitioners or doctor’s assistants who want to start suctioning out ears and combines the Training Dry Ear Canal Cleaning – Theory and Practice with the most important recommended equipment.

By whom is this training accredited:

• The Dutch Audiologist Register Foundation (the StAr) with 115 points.
• The Dutch Association for Doctor’s Assistants (the NVDA) and KABIZ-DA with 41.5 points.

In both cases, the training is at the top of the training offer with the highest number of accreditation points.

What components does the training consist of?
This package consists of all 3 training components that together form our integrated training with accompanying certificate “Dry Ear Canal Cleaning – Theory & Practice”:

• Training Dry Ear Canal Cleaning – Theory (e-Learning)
• Dry Ear Canal Cleaning Training – Hands-on Training Practical Use of Equipment (1 day on location)
• Training Dry Ear Canal Cleaning – 20x Earwax Removal in Practice with ENT Supervision (remotely)

What kind of equipment will I receive during the practical day?
The equipment that will be handed over during the practical day consists of:

1x Vorotek O Scope head-mounted 3D microscope, model of your choice – Headband or Specframe
1x Alsoka Medical Portable Microsuction Unit
1x Composed package of Instruments & Disposables sufficient to help the first 5 to 10 customers get rid of their earwax

We assume that you have access to a suitable otoscope in the store that can function as a webcam to make videos in the EarwaxDossier. If in doubt whether the otoscope is suitable, we can test it together.
